How visiteurs can edit their own profiles ?

how can i make possible for a visiteur to edit their own profile data ? i´ve looked everywhere in the site/forum and it seems is a very frequent question but none with a answer saying how to do it

i tried with crayons, but i can only create a page that the administrtor or the editeurs can edit, not the visiteurs
