SPIP 2.0.7 does not generate

Hi all

When I copy and paste text into the articles and submit, SPIP does not generate auto when there are new lines, they simply cluster together.

Eg
this is a line
this is a new line

would generate :

this is a linethis is a new line

It is time consuming for me to add a into every line, please help. Thank you in advance. (during posting this I have to add in for the example above because it does not generate in preview mode)

also I cannot select texts this this page text field, does anyone know why

SPIP does not generate
indeed as paragraphs are usually used in order to make the text easier to read. When a BR is needed it is expected to be a choice of the editor : copy and paste would in many circumstances generate many wrong BR (copying from an email client as an exemple).

There is a SPIP shortcut but it is no quicker than to write a BR :
Eg this is a line _ this is a new line
If you want to use BR as a general rule there is also the |PtoBR filter : (#TEXTE

Also the shortcut

uses BR instead of P for all the content within (beware the default styles).

SPIP 2.0.7 does not generate <br>
