Creation, deletion, modification of sections

I’m a site adminsitrator but I came into this once the site was created and the person who created it has since died.

I want to create a new section in this site that will be listed on the Home page. I’ve created it in the admin interface, given it an associated keyword and moved a whole lot of articles to it.

It doesn’t show up, and the section I moved all the articles out of does, but of course now leads nowhere.

Any suggestions ?

Hello, it really depends of the kind of template you’re using.

Each template may have a different way to manage the homepage.

If you are also new to SPIP, make sure to refresh the homepage (SPIP is using a cache system) in order to get the last version of your homepage synchronized with the content.

Hello,

I have the same problem. I have created some new sections with the appropiate keywords in the site root and they appear in the admin interface, but they don’t appear in the home page neither after refreshing.

Make sure that the loops in the squelette without section specified in it, we can help you both if you give us the code of your menu/header.

Once provided we may investigate.
