page views exceeded at spip.php

Hi,

I’m using spip 1.9.2.g in my website until 2007 and this year the number of page views are exceeding in my server, almost 70,000 page views from the page base-v.org/spip.php, unusual number for us ! I tried to fix the problem, but really, I have no idea.

Someone could help me, please ?

i dont understand your problem. the statistics goes wrong ?
you may add another stats tracker like google analytics or piwik to check that numbers

by the way, a good advice would be to update your SPIP, at least to version 192j for fix the security issues

Hey, thanks a lot !
But you know, at the server has a limit for GPUs (Grid Performance Unit) and just the page spip.php is using 95% of total accesses and I don’t know why.

I will try to update, I found this page :

Do you think I need to be more specfic to update 192g version ?

update to 1.9.2j is simple and easy. try this first

update to 2.1.10 requires more works, and usually to update a bit your templates.

concerning yr CPU, maybe increase the spip cache

modify or create config/mes_options.php

Hi Erational,

I modified mes_options and nothing changed. After that, I updated spip to version 2.0 and the GPUs still crazy !!!

This is a message from server :

“This page makes up 25% or more of your total GPUs for the select period. Anything that you can do to optimize this page is highly recommended.”

In one month was almost 54,000 pageviews just for this page. Could be hacked ?
