SPIP DATABASE INSTALLATION

I have database installation problems,
when i locally install spip using WAMP server, i choose mysql as database i get this :
Trying to connect to database

Connection to the SQL server failed.

Go back to the previous page, and verify the information you provided.

N.B. On many servers, you must request activation of your access to the SQL database before you can use it. If you cannot connect to your database, check that activation has been done. , what can i do so that i use mysql as my choice
