Hi all, i would like to know how to solve this problem,
after hosting my website, when i try to access the URL, it shows me the error saying :

Warning : mysql_fetch_array() : supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/rwandmdc/public_html/ecrire/req/mysql.php on line 493

and display :

Erreur...
Fichier composer introuvable

Hi,

Not too sure about the source of this problem, though you can try a few things :
– try to empty the cache (if you can still access the private area of your site, that is).
– empty manually your /tmp/cache folder
– append ?var_mode=calcul after your homepage’s url (like so : /home/rwandmdc/ ?var_mode=calcul)

If this doesn’t work, well it’s time to investigate !
Is your spip up-to-date ? Did you modify the .htaccess file ? What plugins are you using ?
I think I read somewhere that the error message refers to a deprecated function in spip, so the problem could be caused by a third-party plugin. Did you install one recently ? If that’s the case, try to disable it, then repeat the 3 steps before.

Hello again,
thank you for you answer, i have tried to empty the /tmp/cache folder, the error had been remove but i do not access the website,
this is how it looks
– when using Mozilla :

The page isn’t redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

– This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

i enable cookies from mozilla firefox but no result
....and also no other browser that open it

– About SPIP, i using 2.1 i expect it is update-to-date
– I didnt change the .htaccess file
– i installed some plugins but none of them is deplicated

what could i do ?

Just to be sure, you could try to disable temporarily all your plugins by renaming the plugins folder (to plugins_tmp for instance).

thank you again,
i have tried to rename the PLUGINS Folder, but the problem remains

the browser still show me this message :

The page isn’t redirecting properly

is it a problem of tmp/cache ?

If it is possible i can start from "O" in order that this problem can be resolved, so what do you recommend me ?
– can i drop the existing db and re-import the new one ?
– can i delete the tmp/ folder manually ?
– can i delete the plugins folder(i have rename it but no impact) ?

hi, could you give us your URL so we can check what really happens ?

it may be an htaccess problem or a infinite loop in your skeleton.

otherwise, yes you can delete :
- the folder ./plugins/
- the folder ./tmp/ (please leave the .htaccess)
try to disable your skeleton and check if your website is working with the default skeleton.

dont drop the existing database. please wait a bit, the problem probably is probably somewhere else.

– I have tried to delete the /tmp/ (leaving htaccess) but no impact
– Also i deleted the plugins folder still no change !

And also i tried to use the somaile.html code of default skeleton( from spip package) in the folder /squelettes-dist/ but still no change !

what could i do ?
– Is there any problem with this version of spip ?

And sometime when i load it, it shows me this message i dont if it is because of low connection or timeout

please check or remove the htaccess on your 2.1X/.
(rewriteBase /2.1X/)

it may comes from a bad redirection

no it’s better, now you got a regular spip error (not an apache error)
please upload again SPIP 2.1.5 (or the last version 2.1.11) maybe one file is missing.
