SPIP 3.1.1

Good Day....I am having an issue with installing SPIP 3.1.1 on my server. My information below.....

Apache Version 2.2.31
PHP Version 5.5.29
MySQL Version 5.5.47-cll

If I try an auto install at this address :

www.lnsenterprises.ca/ourpetitions/ecrire/install with or without the index.php all I get is a capital X on my screen

If I try a manual install at this address :

www.lnsenterprises.ca/ourpetitions/spip_loader.php I get a site under construction, the site is not yet setup, please comeback later..... message

I have left the links active so you may see the issues. Does anyone have any ideas ??? Tankx much.....Tom
